Role Overview
The Risk Manager will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, controlling, and monitoring PayU's exposure to both operational and financial risks. This position is vital for integrating risk analysis into the management processes, aiding the organization in achieving its strategic goals.Key Responsibilities
Engage in the design, standardization, and automation of processes, ensuring their seamless integration into the value chain. Develop and refine the risk governance framework, including policies for the identification, assessment, control, and monitoring of operational and financial risks. Present comprehensive risk management reports to Senior Management, the Board of Directors, and the Audit Committee. Oversee financial risk exposure and conduct stress testing and backtesting. Address regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to risk-related standards. Assist Senior Management in drafting and signing Board and Committee minutes, as well as in executing risk-related initiatives. Update policy manuals and procedures concerning financial risk management. Comply with information security policies, data protection regulations, and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST). Maintain confidentiality, manage passwords diligently, and adhere to the organization's ethical standards. Participate in training programs and apply self-control principles in your work. Lead the implementation and monitoring of action plans for operational risks, fostering a culture of reporting and optimizing controls.Qualifications for Success
A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial institutions with a focus on risk management. At least 2 years of experience in personnel management. Experience working in institutions regulated by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia. Proficiency in managing financial risk methodologies, process-based risk management, operational risk administration, and information security systems. Advanced English proficiency.
