About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Sales Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services Colombia S.A.S. - E40. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and accelerating the adoption of Amazon's Databases suite, including Amazon Aurora, Amazon Redshift, Amazon RDS, and Amazon DynamoDB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to grow the AWS Databases footprint in Colombia.
  • Manage numerous accounts concurrently and strategically, working closely with Enterprise customers and their existing AWS account representatives to qualify and pursue sales opportunities for cloud-based end databases workloads.
  • Engage with our demand generation, segment sales, solutions architects, partner, and marketing organizations to drive opportunities to closure.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets and quota accountability.
  • Drive platform adoption within Enterprise accounts and ensure success at scale.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and accelerating adoption of cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong business acumen, technical background, and sales skills necessary to help position Amazon as the cloud provider of choice for our Databases infrastructure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
