As a Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping and executing a strategy to promote the adoption of Amazon's utility computing web services directly with customers and our network of system integrators and solution providers.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Engagement and Success: Own the technical engagement and success of specific implementation projects, defining implementation architectures and responding to RFPs.
- Cloud Computing Expertise: Develop expertise in AWS technologies and understand how applications are built using the AWS platform.
- Security Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on security in relation to customer applications and services.
- Design and Thought Leadership: Offer exceptional technical design and thought leadership to customers while collaborating with a top-notch sales and business development team.
- 8+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- 10+ years of experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Fluency in Portuguese, English and Spanish
- Experience in Education
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- Experience leading or developing high quality, enterprise scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle
