About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at 1083 Amadeus IT Group Colombia, S.A.S. as a key member of our technology team. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping the evolution of our platform, working closely with cross-functional scrum teams to design and deliver cloud native solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Deliver Cloud Native Solutions: Guide a team to deliver microservices based on reference architectures, including the use of integration patterns and communication protocols.
  2. Provide Documentation and Diagrams: Create documentation and diagrams that can be used by other architects, engineers, product, security, and operations teams to understand the system.
  3. Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Engineering Teams: Work closely with enterprise architects and engineering teams to build application modernization roadmaps in adherence with enterprise standards.
  4. Hands-on Prototyping: Develop and implement hands-on prototypes of solutions to drive value and demonstrate vision.
  5. Provide Governance for Enterprise Architecture: Ensure operational and security standards are architecturally addressed in collaboration with security and technology teams.
About the Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Architect with a strong background in designing and delivering cloud native solutions. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Relevant Work Experience: 8+ years of experience designing and delivering software applications, using C#.
  2. Solution Architecture Experience: 3+ years of experience in solution architecture for integrated enterprise scale applications.
  3. Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Hands-on Experience with Modern Architectural Patterns: Hands-on, real-world experience with modern architectural patterns and practices, including API best practices, Domain Driven Design, CQRS, event-based architectures, etc.
  5. Cloud Native Deployment Patterns: Experience with cloud native deployment patterns.
  6. Database and Data Modelling: Understanding and experience of Database and data modelling with SQL and NoSQL Data stores.
  7. Observability: Familiar with implementation of Observability using Open Telemetry specifications.
  8. Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to facilitate collaboration across multiple groups, ability to present solutions, and build consensus.
  9. SDLC and CI/CD: Understanding of SDLC, CI/CC processes for scale, including blue/green, red/black, canary, CI/CD, and resiliency engineering.
  10. Travel Industry Experience: Travel industry experience is a plus.
  11. Azure Certification: Azure certification is a plus.
