Objective
The successful candidate will play a vital role in the ScotiaTech GTA team, ensuring that specific individual objectives, plans, and initiatives are executed in alignment with the team's strategic business goals. All activities must adhere to relevant regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Promote a customer-centric culture to enhance client relationships and utilize broader Bank resources, systems, and expertise. Provide effective and efficient technical assistance to a designated portfolio of instances. Collaborate with the Architecture team to comprehend design and integration requirements. Address user inquiries and issues on a daily basis, offering support and suggesting alternatives to facilitate business workflows. Clearly articulate user requirements and possess a solid understanding of relevant business systems and industry standards. Engage in walkthroughs and demonstrations of applications throughout various phases of the project or application lifecycle. Deliver comprehensive solutions and recommendations to the business, assisting in the definition of detailed requirements. Conduct thorough research and analysis of business needs, translating them into high-quality systems requirement specifications. Actively engage in the systems implementation process while maintaining a strong grasp of change management protocols. Enhance the end-user experience by identifying scalable solutions and addressing complex ad hoc inquiries. Oversee the JIRA ticketing system, ensuring timely updates and appropriate assignment of new and existing tickets. Recognize the importance of the Bank's risk appetite and culture in daily operations and decision-making. Strive for effective and efficient operations within respective areas, adhering to Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while ensuring compliance with operational, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk obligations. Foster a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.Qualifications / Experience / Additional Information
Essential Skills : Comprehensive understanding of current IT methodologies and systems development practices (Waterfall, Agile, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). Experience in managing customer issues and providing effective solutions. Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, with the ability to create and execute queries independently. Minimum of 2 years of experience with Salesforce. Previous experience in Business Systems Analysis. A university or college degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology) or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in English at a B2 level.Work Environment
