Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Salesforce Administrator to oversee and enhance our Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce best practices and demonstrate proficiency in configuring, customizing, and maintaining the Salesforce platform. This role entails working with both Sandbox and production environments, establishing object relationships, creating fields and triggers, and implementing tailored solutions utilizing Apex and the Salesforce API. The candidate will collaborate with key business stakeholders to devise solutions that promote optimal processes and business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Administration:
- Oversee and configure Salesforce environments, including partial sandbox, development sandboxes, and production.
- Create and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, visual workflows, and flows.
- Establish object relationships, including master-detail, lookup, and junction objects.
Implement and manage data security through roles, profiles, sharing rules, and permission sets.
Customization and Development:
- Develop and manage custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, and the Salesforce API.
- Write and maintain Apex triggers, classes, and batch processes.
- Work with third-party integrations, such as telephony integrations and document generation integrations like PandaDoc and Conga.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborate effectively using GitHub or similar platforms.
User Support and Training:
- Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues.
- Regularly develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and usage of Salesforce.
Data Management:
- Conduct data imports, exports, and updates using tools like Data Loader and Workbench.
- Maintain data integrity and accuracy through regular audits and cleanups.
Reporting and Dashboards:
- Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize Salesforce's reporting capabilities to monitor key metrics and performance indicators.
Project Management:
- Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Qualifications:
- Required Certification:
>> Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator certification
>> Platform App Builder certification (must have) - Experience: Three years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and the Salesforce API.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with Salesforce DX and DevOps best practices.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Einstein Analytics or other BI tools.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira or Asana.
- Understanding of Salesforce AppExchange and third-party application integration.
- Familiarity with change management processes for implementing new Salesforce features or updates.
