Slate Brands is a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of the travel retail industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Product Support Specialist to join our team in Brooklyn, NY. This is a remote position that offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional development within the travel retail industry.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to provide direct support to our Travel Retail Strategist. As a Part-Time Product Support Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing and managing data through Google Sheets, conducting outreach to brands, wholesalers, and distributors via various platforms and email, planning and attending shows and conferences, and performing additional tasks as required to support business operations and objectives.
Responsibilities
• Provide direct support to our Travel Retail Strategist in research, outreach, planning, and organizing key data related to travel retail.
• Organize and manage data through Google Sheets to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
• Conduct outreach to brands, wholesalers, and distributors via various platforms and email to establish and maintain relationships.
• Plan and attend shows and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support business operations and objectives, including data entry, document management, and other administrative duties.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a business-level proficiency in English (written and spoken), basic understanding of travel retail and duty-free, strong communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Google Suite, particularly Google Sheets, is also essential.
Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this position is $25-$30 per hour, based on 20 hours of work per week. This is a contract position, and the expected hours may vary.
