About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our Development Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for directing activities related to sourcing, screening, analyzing, planning, and developing business ventures or portfolios of ventures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the business development process through deal closure, including validation against proposal progress through stage gates.
  • Work with investors to establish high-level strategic, financial, and operational goals and milestones for new ventures.
  • Review investor proposals and approve contract payments and variations within authority limits.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure deal alignment and progression.
  • Lead business portfolios and manage development of commercial agreements and provide analysis in reviewing legal documents.
  • Manage negotiation strategy development and execution.
  • Prepare reviews and present corporate committees and executive briefs.
  • Provide administrative direction to Business Development staff, including job performance appraisals and job promotion recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 12 years of experience.
  • CFA, CMA, PMP, or similar certification.
  • Industry expertise and knowledge of specific business transaction and venturing activities.
  • Expertise in financial analysis of companies and transaction valuation.
  • Focused knowledge and experience in one or more of the following: carve-out divestment, financial restructuring, or initial public offering.
  • Experience in dealing with local or industry-specific best practices and regulatory and governmental mandates.
What We Offer
  • Monthly Base Salary aligned with company employees with similar skills.
  • Monthly Overbase of 25% of monthly base salary.
  • Benefits Supplement of 20% of monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 3 years, 30% after 6 years, and 35% after 12 years.
  • Severance Package with a 2-year vest period.
  • Employment Tax benefits.
  • Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) with a maximum purchase equal to 10% monthly base pay and a 20% share discount.
  • Incentive Plan based on performance, approximately 1.8x monthly base salary.
  • Travel Allowance of approximately $8,200 per household member 11+ years old residing in Saudi Arabia and $6,000 per household member under 11 years old.
