International Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Accounting Specialist to join our team at American Airlines. As a Lead Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for preparing payroll for AA and DSA, ensuring accuracy of payments, and executing according to internal policies and governmental procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze information related to payroll (Workbrain) and prepare a monthly report for payroll (Mpays)
- Analyze and prepare TSS payments, and prepare payment of taxes retention for the DGII
- Keep a physical and electronic form in the files for the payroll, and answer employees' questions about information related to their payments
- Send and prepare letters and files of the payroll, and prepare labor severance for employees due to termination or resignation
- Send the payroll roster to the DSA HR (biweekly), and perform other issues inherent to the position
- Degree in Accounting
- Computer knowledge (SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English and native language
- Exceptional analytical leadership, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to keep a high level of confidentiality, and knowledge in taxes and local labor law
- Ability to be a team-building worker, objective-oriented, and have good human relations and inter-personal and communication skills
