We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our team at KLYM. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and mitigating risks associated with our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Counterparty Credit Assessment: Evaluate the creditworthiness of our risk exposures and provide recommendations for credit limits and structures.
- Risk Management: Balance risk and reward, ensuring that our business operations are aligned with our risk tolerance.
- Automation and Scoring: Collaborate with our Data Science team to develop and validate risk models that can be tested and scaled in a real-world environment.
- Credit Control: Regularly review our portfolio of credit exposures and make recommendations for breaches or exceptions.
- Credit Reporting: Prepare credit applications and portfolio reports for senior management, highlighting risks and mitigants.
- People Management: Lead a team of credit analysts located in Brasil, Colombia, and Chile.
- Credit Risk Management: Understand key elements of credit risk management, with a focus on credit assessment in a working capital or commercial banking environment.
- Communication: Clearly write concise and complete papers and risk reports within tight deadlines, and supervise others to do the same.
- Reporting: Previous experience reporting to management on portfolio performance.
- Team Management: Ability to manage a team of credit analysts in the region.
- Research: Ability to research industry data and incorporate external information into credit reports and presentations.
- Language: Fluent in English and Spanish is required.
- Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a strong knowledge of finance and statistical analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to work in a multicultural environment and across multiple time zones.
- Drive and Motivation: Drive and desire to contribute as part of a highly energized team in a results-oriented organization that is growing rapidly.
