About the role

  • The Risk Manager will be responsible for ensuring the identification, measurement, control, and monitoring of Ding's exposure to operational and financial risks. This person will ensure that the analysis is integrated into Ding's management processes, assisting the entity in achieving its institutional objectives.
  • Participate in the design, standardization, and automation of processes, ensuring their integration into the value chain.
  • Develop and update the risk governance structure, including policies for the identification, measurement, control, and monitoring of operational and financial risks.
  • Present risk management reports to Senior Management, the Board of Directors, and the Audit Committee. Monitor financial risk exposure and conduct stress testing and backtesting.
  • Address regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with risk-related norms.
  • Support Senior Management in drafting and signing Board and Committee minutes, and in implementing risk-related projects.
  • Update policy manuals and procedures related to financial risk management.
  • Adhere to information security policies, data protection regulations, and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST).
  • Maintain confidentiality, manage passwords responsibly, and comply with the organization's code of ethics.
  • Participate in training programs and apply self-control principles in your work.
  • Lead the implementation and follow-up of action plans for operational risks, promoting a culture of reporting and control optimization.

What you need to succeed

  • 7 years of experience in financial institutions leading risk management.
  • At least 2 years of experience in personnel management.
  • Experience working in institutions regulated by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia
  • Experience in managing financial risk methodologies, process-based risk management, operational risk administration, and information security systems.
  • Advanced English Level
