The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager to join our team. As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the identification, measurement, control, and monitoring of operational and financial risks.
Key Responsibilities- Design, standardize, and automate processes to ensure their integration into the value chain.
- Develop and update the risk governance structure, including policies for the identification, measurement, control, and monitoring of operational and financial risks.
- Present risk management reports to Senior Management, the Board of Directors, and the Audit Committee.
- Monitor financial risk exposure and conduct stress testing and backtesting.
- Address regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with risk-related norms.
- Support Senior Management in drafting and signing Board and Committee minutes, and in implementing risk-related projects.
- Update policy manuals and procedures related to financial risk management.
- Adhere to information security policies, data protection regulations, and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST).
- Maintain confidentiality, manage passwords responsibly, and comply with the organization's code of ethics.
- Participate in training programs and apply self-control principles in your work.
- Lead the implementation and follow-up of action plans for operational risks, promoting a culture of reporting and control optimization.
- 7 years of experience in financial institutions leading risk management.
- At least 2 years of experience in personnel management.
- Experience working in institutions regulated by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia.
- Experience in managing financial risk methodologies, process-based risk management, operational risk administration, and information security systems.
- Advanced English Level.
