Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team at Kaplan International. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the Country Manager in account management of selected accounts to drive market strategy. You will sell KIL products, including Alpadia, through inbound and outbound calls, and manage the Brazil leads pipeline to maximize conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell KIL products through inbound and outbound calls, following up on enquiries and quotes in both English and Portuguese.
  • Manage the Brazil leads pipeline to best maximize conversion rates.
  • Build strong customer rapport through high-quality written and oral communications and demonstrate excellent product knowledge.
  • Oversee the distribution of leads/enquiries to selected agency accounts and thoroughly follow up on referred students.
  • Work closely with selected agency accounts to maintain, strengthen, and develop relationships.
  • Be the first point of contact for selected agency accounts and assist with daily enquiries and quotes requests, follow up on requests, and work closely with admissions teams to resolve any possible complaints.
  • Attend student fairs and other events as required by the Country Manager to support country sales and marketing plans.
  • Complete all required administration and recording of sales through CRM systems and other business systems.
  • Build strong relationships with team members and provide flexible and prompt support at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience selling in both Portuguese/English in a tele sales role.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport, handle objections, and close sales.
  • Experience working in an office admin and relationship management role.
  • Excellent communication skills with both oral and written fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Ability to negotiate and overcome objections.
  • Competent computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines when required.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Salesforce experience would be an advantage.

Requirements for the Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably from a Portuguese-speaking country.
  • Native fluency in Portuguese, and second language fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Be 'Results Oriented' and display a track record of delivering against aggressive targets.
  • Previous experience in field sales, cold calling, and dealing with clients directly (presentations, product knowledge) would be highly valuable.
  • Ability to pitch business to customers with confidence, and experience in complex contract negotiations.
