Job Description

The Business Unit Head position is a key role within the Specialty Care Business Unit, responsible for leading the team to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the Colombian market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to maximize the value of current and future assets.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to launch new products and services, and drive commercial execution.
  • Provide strategic direction to the marketing and promotional teams, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to establish a strong, efficient, and sustainable performance culture.
  • Develop and implement plans to build strong partnerships with local and global cross-functional partners.
  • Drive multidisciplinary teams to achieve strong execution metrics, leading to customer and patient impact.
  • Propose and implement structure and operation models to enhance delivery and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in management and leadership, including sales and marketing, within the biopharmaceutical industry in Specialty, Oncology, and Hematology business.
  • 5+ years' experience in leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Written and spoken fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Colombian Healthcare systems.
  • Specialty market development experience creating new market opportunities.
  • Proven ability and credibility to influence change at the enterprise level to secure resources needed to build and support a new business capability.
  • Proven experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience in leading and embedding cultural change at the enterprise level.
  • High ability to lead, role-modeling capabilities to deliver cross-functional projects within high complexity environments.
  • Strong business and financial acumen, as well as a risk management mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSc in Sales, Marketing, or equivalent.
  • Strong project management skills.
