Electrical Sales Director Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Sales Director to join our team at Alternativepower Solutions, Inc. This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth in the electrical sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Manage and grow our sales portfolio to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and site visits.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote our electrical products and services.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure excellent after-sales support and satisfaction.
    • Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
    • Proactively follow up on leads, inquiries, and sales opportunities to ensure closure.
  • Market Research and Strategy:
    • Conduct market research to stay updated on customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.
    • Provide insights to the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies tailored to clients.
    • Monitor and report sales performance, providing regular updates to the AVP - Business Development.
  • Contract Negotiation and Proposal Management:
    • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts to clients, ensuring alignment with company policies.
    • Negotiate terms and pricing with customers in coordination with internal teams, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services to customers.
    • Coordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure smooth execution of sales orders.
  • Event and Networking Participation:
    • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote products and services.
    • Develop relationships with industry professionals, clients, and stakeholders to enhance the company's presence in the region.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the electrical sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the market and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions to customers.
