Electrical Sales Director Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Sales Director to join our team at Alternativepower Solutions, Inc. This is an exceptional opportunity for a sales professional to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth in the electrical sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Manage and grow our sales portfolio to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and site visits.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to promote our electrical products and services.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure excellent after-sales support and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to understand their needs and present tailored solutions.
- Proactively follow up on leads, inquiries, and sales opportunities to ensure closure.
- Market Research and Strategy:
- Conduct market research to stay updated on customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.
- Provide insights to the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies tailored to clients.
- Monitor and report sales performance, providing regular updates to the AVP - Business Development.
- Contract Negotiation and Proposal Management:
- Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts to clients, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with customers in coordination with internal teams, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and services to customers.
- Coordinate with logistics and production teams to ensure smooth execution of sales orders.
- Event and Networking Participation:
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote products and services.
- Develop relationships with industry professionals, clients, and stakeholders to enhance the company's presence in the region.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the electrical sector.
- Strong knowledge of the market and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions to customers.
