Commercial Collections Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Collections Lead to join our Loan Collections team at Wbl California, LLC.
Job SummaryThis is a remote Contract/Consultant position that requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial collections, outstanding analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team in monitoring loan aging reports to identify troubled accounts.
- Maintain thorough records of collection efforts and status of accounts.
- Contact borrowers with delinquent accounts and solicit payment.
- Review severely delinquent loans and recommend migration to non-performing status when collection efforts are no longer productive.
- 5+ years experience in commercial collections, customer service, or a related field.
- Loan/mortgage industry experience preferred.
- 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams required.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- You must have your own laptop or desktop to use.
The salary for this position is approximately $85,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions. Additionally, you will receive 11 paid holidays.
