About WBL

WBL California, LLC is a leading provider of short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in monitoring loan aging reports to identify troubled accounts.
  • Maintain thorough records of collection efforts and status of accounts.
  • Contact borrowers with delinquent accounts and solicit payment.
  • Review severely delinquent loans and recommend migration to non-performing status when collection efforts are no longer productive.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in Collections, Customer Service, or related field.
  • Loan/mortgage industry experience preferred.
  • 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams is required.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • You must have your own laptop or desktop to use.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • This is a contract/consultant position.
  • Degree of Experience (DOE).
  • 11 US Paid Holidays.

Estimated Salary Range:$60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. The company offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for career growth.
