The Financial Operations Manager will oversee the efficient management of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring compliance with service levels and contractual requirements. This role involves reviewing and approving invoices, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment discrepancies and invoice disputes.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process invoices, verifying accuracy and compliance with company financial policies and controls.
  • Coordinate with vendors, internal suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve payment issues and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Oversee adherence to payment deadlines, discounts, and contractual agreements with vendors.
  • Perform regular audits and reviews of accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Support team leaders by acting as a backup and ensuring that the scope of services assigned to the account is completed accurately, on time, and within productivity standards.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership position managing groups of 10-15 people.
  • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills, with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various levels.
