Homogenizer Frontline Sales Engineer
**Your responsibilities and tasks**:
- HOM Sales Engineer manages the assigned resources to meet customers’ needs within the context of promoting sales of all assigned valves, pumps and cleaning technology products.
- The main goal is to detail and implement the cluster sales strategy, perform sales planning / forecasting, and develop product portfolio (in close cooperation with the HOM Sales Steering Manager) and drive revenues through a proficient management of the different routes to market that each market may require and that the HOM sales engineer needs to prospect.
- Special focus on new machines and spare parts delivery and meeting customer needs and promoting the "GEA" vision - a coordinated approach to sales across the entire organization.
- S/he is encouraged to think in an innovative way and to embrace modern new product development and theories.
- The HOM Sales engineer must have a comprehensive market knowledge which comprise a full view of potential, competitors and competitive environment.
- The HOM Sales Engineer should be proactive, self-driven, resilient, sales oriented, business acumen is mandatory.
**Your profile and qualifications**:
- University degree in one of the main engineering fields. (Chemical, industrial or mechanical background preferred option).
- Minimum of 5 years relevant sales customer service experience.
- Advanced understanding in the food and beverage business, customer relationship management and market development.
- Strong capital equipment or service sales experience in liquid management technologies.
- Knowledge about GEA portfolio, local market requirements and customer groups.
- Capable of designing and implementing strategic sales plan.
