The Business Development Associate will have an important role in our mission as you will engage with our key partners, identify market opportunities in Colombia and support the broader operations.

You will be working across business areas, and functions. You’ll drive relationships, initiatives, related tasks, coordinate with cross-functional teams in order to fulfill the minka_ mission to enable money to flow.

**How**:
**Be a solver**:

- Develop and implement a B2B client lifetime value roadmap to optimize revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects.
- Monitor and analyze clients' pipelines to identify opportunities for business development and improvement.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of growth strategies and initiatives to improve future performance.
- Participate in business development strategy to expand the company’s presence
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (banks, fintechs, law firms, and others) to establish partnerships to grow our network

**Be an owner**:

- Follow up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively identify and resolve client issues to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, industry partners, and other stakeholders to facilitate business growth
- Plan and execute networking and marketing events to promote our fintech services to potential clients
- As we launch new projects and initiatives, provide the necessary insights for us to achieve our goals
- Work with product, business, and operations teams to explore business development opportunities
- Manage key relationships and partnerships that contribute to the growth of the minka_ network

**Write it down**:

- Develop and execute projects with partners to help them and us grow our business
- Participate and actively contribute to payments landscape analysis to ensure minka_ can quickly adapt to new trends and changes
- Research, develop, and lead go-to-market strategies

**Required skills**:

- Bachelors, Masters University Degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, or related fields
- At least 2 years of experience working in business development or sales roles. If in the startup, fintech, SaaS or payments companies will be a plus
- Excellent attention to detail with analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to manage simultaneous complex projects, quickly adapting to changes and reorganizing workflow
- Ability to speak and write in English and Spanish fluently, additional languages a plus
