Currently, we are seeking a Review and Compliance Analyst to join our team. Here are the challenges that our next warrior will face and the requirements we look for:

Location: Medellin, Colombia.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure the integrity and security of our workforce by rigorously investigating candidate backgrounds using both national and international databases.
  • Analyze findings and provide expert recommendations on candidate suitability based on risk assessments and compliance requirements.
  • Streamline background checks and reference verifications to accelerate the hiring process while maintaining high standards.
  • Protect confidential employee information by maintaining secure databases and adhering to strict data privacy regulations.
  • Identify potential security threats and protect the company's reputation by ensuring only qualified and trustworthy individuals join the team.
  • Collaborate with legal and talent teams to stay up-to-date on employment regulations and ensure adherence to all legal requirements.
  • Implement efficient systems and procedures to improve candidate experience and reduce time-to-hire.
  • Provide accurate and timely data to inform hiring decisions and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes to optimize the background check workflow and reduce turnaround times.
  • Proactively identify and address compliance risks to protect the company's reputation.
  • Analyze complex data to identify patterns and trends, and make informed decisions based on findings.
  • Effectively communicate with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and build relationships.
  • Stay current on employment laws, industry best practices, and emerging security threats.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of candidate data and reports.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Professional in law or similar careers.
  • 6 months to one year of experience in a compliance, internal audit, or background check-related role in a multinational company, preferably in the technology or services industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in the consultation and evaluation of judicial and criminal records, with the ability to make recommendations based on risk analysis.
  • Ideal experience in international or multicultural environments, understanding the importance of regulations in different jurisdictions and their application in a global context.
  • Knowledge of data analysis.
  • Basic office package knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory standards applicable to the technology industry.
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of internal policies and external regulations
  • Proficiency in the handling of legal and regulatory documentation, especially in the evaluation of judicial and criminal backgrounds
  • Creative thinking and communication, assertive communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, detail-oriented, customer service, time management, and organization.
