Job Description

Systems or Electronic Engineer with wide experience in Database Administration Fluent in English Knowledge and certification in SQL databases, databases administration and reporting is a must. Experience and/or certification* on HPe servers and VMWare server virtualization. Experience and/or certification* on Windows server and Linux systems

Primary Responsibilities 

The main responsibilities of the position is to provide level III technical support to the end customer and systems operation, to solve failures of the PremierOne (P1) To be the primary contact between the Motorola Inc Support Teams (P1) and Customer for the Level III cases escalation and follow-up Responsible for the execution and monitoring of contracted service activities Monitors adherence to project plan and budgets; escalates issues to Territory CSM Recognizes potential risks and takes action or escalates appropriately. Proposes alternatives to resolution or mitigation, for the projects that is involved  Primary interface to other internal teams in Motorola Reports Generation about technical support

Detailed Activities 

To provide technical support to the customer in all level III issues related with P1 Databases and system issues To monitor the P1 system performance warning about potential system performance problems, helping the customer to take corrective action Provide telephone technical support for the client, approximating and isolating faults through VPN access and the system's tools. Periodically visit the client and its operation, to identify opportunities for improvement Maintain All the project documentation and project history Work with the CSM in the schedule and chronograms definition for the project activities as needed Follow the Scheduled plan with Tracking to all the activities Coordinate support activities and deliveries from Third parties if applies Coordination with other Motorola internal entities to get the support on time Coordinate all the Field activities with Field Engineers according to the schedule as needed Planning and coordination with Motorola and customers, the projects software upgrades Control and monitoring of agreed SLAs with customer Coordination of periodical calls with customers to follow up the project Coordination of repairs and process of the RMA with Motorola vendors and vendors as needed Preparation of all the reports and informs for the customers Must, based on the analysis of the operation and use of the systems, identify characteristics that are not being used or misused, in order to recommend the necessary changes.

This position will work in a hybrid model from Calle 20 #68A-06, Bogotá DC.
