About the role:
As a Digital Project Manager, you will work closely with our designers, developers, and Director of Operations to ensure the successful completion of projects. Your role involves overseeing budgets and timelines, maintaining client satisfaction, managing risks, and addressing issues that arise. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of digital marketing, web design, and development processes, and expertise in digital project management best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that meets our quality standards
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to plan, forecast, and schedule teamwork and priorities
- Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, tracking progress toward goals
- Maintain proactive client relationships and communication throughout projects, setting and managing expectations
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably within the digital space
- Minimum of 2 years of client-facing experience
- Ability to manage changing project courses and complex stakeholder groups
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, web development, and design principles
- Excellent proactive communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Resourceful, self-starting approach to problem-solving and communication
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and motivate team members
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Experience with project management software and remote tools (e.g., Basecamp, Slack, Forecast)
- Strong presentation and verbal skills to communicate complex information clearly
Nice to Have:
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Louder Than Ten)
- Experience with different project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall)
- Experience with WordPress or Craft CMS
- Knowledge or experience with SEO, Google Analytics, web accessibility, and UX best practices
