Position Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist at EVO Colombia is responsible for managing and strengthening all HR processes within the organization, focusing on people experience, compliance with Colombian labor regulations, and the development of a strong and positive workplace culture.
This role ensures efficient recruitment, onboarding, training, and engagement of administrative teams, while promoting EVO's values of integrity, empathy, and continuous improvement.
The HR Specialist acts as a strategic partner to leadership, helping align human talent management with organizational goals and the company's global vision.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Lead the recruitment process for administrative and leadership roles.
- Manage job postings, interviews, and selection in coordination with department heads.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation experience for new employees.
- Maintain an updated database of candidates and talent pipelines for future needs.
2. Compliance & Employee Administration
- Ensure compliance with Colombian labor laws, contracts, and company policies.
- Manage employee files, ensuring confidentiality and accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with accounting and payroll for updates on new hires, terminations, or changes.
- Support audits and ensure all HR documentation is up to date.
3. Performance & Development
- Coordinate periodic performance reviews and feedback sessions.
- Support leaders in the implementation of development plans and coaching processes.
- Track employee progress and identify high-potential talent for programs like Future Leaders.
- Design and monitor internal training initiatives and continuous learning efforts.
4. Culture, Engagement & Internal Communication
- Promote a healthy, inclusive, and motivating work environment.
- Lead internal communication campaigns and employee recognition initiatives such as The Everlasters, Employee of the Month, and cultural events (e.g., team building, wellness days, celebrations).
- Conduct climate and satisfaction surveys, and present actionable insights.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, ensuring listening and conflict-resolution mechanisms.
5. HR Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare reports and HR metrics (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, training hours).
- Identify process improvements to optimize HR efficiency and employee experience.
- Support the implementation of technology tools for HR management and engagement tracking.
- Collaborate on strategic projects aligned with EVO's long-term growth plan.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in human resources, preferably in service or corporate environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (B2+ or higher).
- Strong understanding of Colombian labor legislation and HR compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and HRIS/digital platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in culture building, leadership development, or training coordination.
- Familiarity with ISO, SG-SST, or internal audit processes.
- Knowledge of employer branding and internal communication strategies.
- Certification or training in coaching, emotional intelligence, or team management.
