Job Title: Air Import Customer Service

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Import Customer Service professional to join our team at Expeditors. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring timely arrival of freight, and meeting all pharmaceutical and healthcare requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor freight to ensure timely arrival and accurate preparation of shipping documents.
  • Follow up on inbound shipments and ensure freight is made available for customers to receive their cargoes in the quickest possible time.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical and healthcare regulations and directives.
  • Trace flight delays with airlines and origins to ensure timely feedback on arrival information to customers and the customer service team.
  • Ensure all paperwork is in proper order and meets customer profiles and local rules and regulations.
  • Achieve 100% customer satisfaction through understanding customer needs and handling requirements.
  • Ensure all data is entered into the system timely and accurately.
  • Ensure freight and handling charges are billed accurately and sent to customers timely.
  • Prepare and submit reports timely whenever required.
  • Take up additional tasks as required to meet department needs.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of working experience.
  • Good working knowledge of computer software applications, including email, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Initiative and a positive and proactive demeanor.
  • Committed to the job and work assignments given.
  • Good understanding of customer service culture.
  • Team player and able to work with various personalities across all levels of the organization.
