Job Summary

Ecolab is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our Food and Beverage team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for driving results and providing unparalleled expertise to our customers in the food, beverage, and dairy manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic work plans to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional service to new and existing customers.
  • Build strong business relationships and networks with plant staff, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies and improving product quality.
  • Provide industry expertise on sanitation, safety, and quality, assisting with sanitation plans and programs, and evaluating processes and procedures.
  • Manage Ecolab products and equipment, participating in equipment installations, observing and testing equipment and product performance, and repairing or adjusting equipment as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff, building strong business relationships and networks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in dairy, food, or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, or a related field.
  • 2 years of technical sales experience in the meat, processed food, dairy, and poultry sector or the beverage and brewing sector.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Ability to travel by car throughout the territory, including periodic overnight travel, and be on-call during off-work hours and weekends when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to sell value-added products to customers.
  • Carry aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multi-national customers.
  • General mechanical ability.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
