Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Triaging requests, incidents, and queries in our Service Management tool within agreed SLAs.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, and developing solutions to improve efficiency.
- Performing requirements analysis and documenting results.
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Performing user acceptance testing and ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
Requirements
- Experience working with customers and SQL or MS Excel for data processing or reporting.
- Strong analytical thinking, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high knowledge of the English language.
- Ability to identify trends, use statistics to interpret data, and work in a structured approach.
- Self-starter with business acumen, curiosity, and a basic understanding of how the Internet works.
Desirable Skills
- Windows or Linux administration, MSDynamics or Peoplesoft knowledge, and previous experience in analyst positions.
- Technical skills and understanding of the software development lifecycle, developing languages such as VBA, C++, Python, Java, and Database Administration SQL.
- Design/architect skills, experience of working with IT customer service, support operation, and project management, and knowledge of SLA structure.
