Education Sales Specialist, WWPS LATAM

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) WW Public Sector LATAM team as a Vertical Industry Leader, LATAM Public Sector EDU. This role will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to grow our presence in the education industry across Latin America and the Caribbean.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with C-suite customers across public sector organizations to deepen our relationships and help advance our business.
- Work closely with account and sales managers to drive business growth and develop strategic industry partnerships.
- Attend and speak at industry events to drive thought leadership and promote AWS solutions.
- Lead the process to guide our government solutions in this geography and create significant business opportunities for AWS.
- Collaborate with solution architects to develop and promote cloud patterns and scalable solutions for the education industry.
- Provide insight and feedback to core AWS product and services teams to help evolve future AWS offerings.
- Work closely with the Industry Solution Team to develop scalable solutions to deploy across LATAM.
- 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
- 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management experience.
- 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience.
