About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture Team. This dynamic role involves providing support in recruiting top talent, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and leading the acquisition process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment Support: Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Business Line Leaders to manage and coordinate recruitment efforts across business lines, focusing on delivering innovative solutions to meet hiring targets.
  2. Candidate Experience: Facilitate the recruitment process, from job description creation to offer stage, while creating a pipeline of suitable candidates through various sources, including social media, university relations, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, and more.
  3. Talent Intelligence: Develop skills of the HR and Hiring Manager teams by coaching on interviewing techniques, bias awareness, diversity and inclusion, talent intelligence, and other TA matters.
  4. Metrics and Reporting: Own recruitment metrics and reporting, building and interacting with industry networks on LinkedIn, and acting as a company ambassador to attract top talent.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in talent acquisition/recruitment, preferably in industries such as sustainability, tech, finance, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of core People & Culture processes, particularly recruitment, staffing plans, performance management, compensation and benefits, and talent management.
  • Experience with high-volume recruitment and a start-up mentality, with flexibility and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in English and Spanish, and any other language spoken in South Pole's office locations being highly valued.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills, as well as experience in or passion for environmental issues and diversity & inclusion.
