About the Role

Sophilabs is seeking a highly skilled and organized HR Generalist to join our team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a critical role in facilitating daily HR functions and supporting the department and organization in achieving specific goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and Maintain HR Policies

Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies that promote a healthy and productive work environment, ensuring compliance with labor regulations and company standards.

Compensation and Benefits Administration

Monitor and administer compensation and benefits plans, ensuring fairness and equity among employees.

Timekeeping and Attendance Management

Collect and verify timekeeping information for all employees, ensuring accurate records and compliance with company policies.

Training and Development Initiatives

Help organize and implement training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding

Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.

Employee Relations and Grievances

Address employee requests and grievances in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive and respectful work environment.

HR Procedures and Compliance

Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations, ensuring the company's compliance and avoiding potential risks.

Employee Files and Records

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and records, both in electronic and paper form.

Administrative Support

Provide administrative support to the HR department, including receptionist duties and other tasks as needed.

Generalist Duties

Perform generalist duties, including maintenance, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, budgets, shopping, logistics, and coordinating, as required.

Requirements

  • Language Proficiency

Fluent in English.

Experience

At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in Human Resources administrative positions.

Tech Savviness

Tech-savvy, with proficiency in HR software and systems.

Communication Skills

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.

Attention to Detail

Ability to attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks.

Solution-Oriented Mindset

Solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to think critically and creatively.

Team Player

Self-starter and team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
