Job Title

Account Executive

The Account Executive will focus on identifying and securing new business prospects within a designated geographic area and/or customer segment (specifically targeting small and medium travel agency clients) through remote engagement. This role will also assist the Inside Sales team with various administrative responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess technical and functional expertise in this field, along with an understanding of the Amadeus business model and its relevance to the industry.
  • Adhere to established procedures and guidelines while providing insights to influence decision-making processes.
  • Analyze diverse information sources to recommend innovative solutions and suggest enhancements, working with moderate supervision from management.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Contribute to the development of quarterly sales strategies and identify target customers and prospects using analytical tools such as Qlick and Salesforce.
  • Utilize virtual selling platforms (video conferencing, live presentations via Teams, Zoom) to identify and qualify business opportunities by fostering relationships with high-level executives, adhering to call quotas set by management.
  • Promote and market products, services, and solutions through direct interactions, virtual events, and promotional roadshows (webinars). Assist in executing the marketing strategy by evaluating webinar results, following up with attendees, and supporting educational digital initiatives.
  • Conduct business or product presentations using virtual selling tools, and collaborate with product specialists to enhance client relationships and increase sales success rates.
  • Assess specific customer needs and deliver engaging virtual presentations to showcase proposals, guiding clients through the implementation and onboarding phases using digital tools.
  • Employ various digital communication methods (email, instant messaging, video calls) to negotiate and finalize deals.
  • Actively engage in campaign-driven sales processes, manage leads generated from campaigns, and provide daily updates on campaign progress within the CRM system.
  • Report on campaign developments to your Inside Sales Head (Cluster) on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, offering insights and market intelligence.
  • Ensure the correct customer engagement rates are met on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis as defined by management.
  • Monitor and manage the sales pipeline velocity to maintain desired levels.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree or possesses equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish.
  • Has prior experience working with travel agencies.
  • Demonstrates a successful track record in a sales or commercial role (experience in tourism is advantageous but not essential).
  • Exhibits strong analytical skills and experience managing databases.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and business intelligence tools.
  • Possesses excellent negotiation skills.
  • Must be open to travel.
