Position Overview

The selected candidate will collaborate within a team dedicated to delivering strategic insights and crafting solutions for intricate business challenges through the configuration, integration, testing, and support of our software applications. New consultants will engage in Quorum's comprehensive orientation program, which emphasizes software technology and equips them with the essential skills to embark on a fruitful career. While a background in technology or programming is not mandatory, a strong commitment to continuous learning, technical skill enhancement, problem-solving capabilities, and business insight are crucial, as much of the work is conducted under client supervision, necessitating significant user interaction and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with clients daily to gather business and technical requirements for implementing advanced software solutions.
  • Engaging in small project teams for specific tasks or contributing to larger initiatives.
  • Involvement in the configuration, enhancement, and testing stages related to software development and deployment.
  • Ensuring the successful completion of individual and team deliverables.
  • Working closely with software engineering teams to integrate released software into client environments.
  • Offering guidance and mentorship to junior consultants.
  • Participating in company-building activities, such as recruitment or delivering internal training sessions.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields with an analytical focus.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 according to US academic standards.
  • Proven technical skills, including the ability to solve complex problems, programming knowledge (C++/C#, Java, VB, SQL, or other programming languages), and familiarity with systems architecture.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, such as managing project timelines and promoting team collaboration.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Interest in fostering and developing client relationships through meaningful interactions.
  • Willingness to travel to client locations as necessary, potentially up to 50% of the time.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest or experience in the oil and gas sector.
  • Experience in developing and implementing solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Relevant internship or work experience is highly preferred.

Additional Information

  • Background Check: The successful candidate will be required to complete several clearances, including Criminal History Check, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Driver's License Verification, and Passport/ID validation.
  • Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in Colombia is necessary, as the company will not provide visa sponsorship for this position. The successful candidate must ensure they maintain and renew any visas or permits granting employment eligibility where applicable.
  • Professional Registration: The successful candidate may need to present their professional registration information if the role is subject to regulation.
  • Onboarding Medical: The successful candidate must undergo a medical examination prior to starting employment, in accordance with Colombian legislation.
