Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled DevOps Engineer to become part of our modernization team. In this position, you will be an integral member of the core modernization team, tasked with the construction, deployment, and automation of the platform and its capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in a microservices architecture, automating builds and deployments at scale with agility, while closely collaborating with team members to ensure a reliable, secure, efficient, and scalable process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our current build and deployment processes and pipelines.
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes for the modernization team, aiding in the design of our future automation architecture.
  • Guarantee the reliability and scalability of our systems through proactive monitoring and performance enhancement.
  • Assist in platform and capability deployments across various environments, including troubleshooting issues and applying solutions.
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure our systems meet security and compliance standards.
  • Create and uphold technical documentation and standards.
  • Guide and educate other team members in DevOps best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps capacity.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Helm).
  • Networking knowledge with an emphasis on containerization.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines, Terraform).
  • Solid programming skills in C#, Java, Python, or a similar language.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
