The Development and Platform Enablement team is responsible for:
Implementing and maintaining applications hosted on AWS and Azure cloud environments.
Conducting system administration tasks on both Windows and Linux platforms.
Automating operational and release processes through scripting.
Providing production support for cloud-hosted applications.
Summary of the Role:
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to oversee the maintenance and production support of cloud-hosted applications. The ideal candidate will investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on the platforms, support release activities for various cloud applications, collaborate with different teams, and conduct proof of concepts for new and emerging technologies.
In this role, you will:
- Handle platform incident requests and perform health checks on various systems daily.
- Manage the release of software components and automate manual tasks weekly.
- Propose enhancements to existing operational processes.
About the Ideal Candidate:
- Education requirement: Engineering degree (must or preferred).
- A minimum of 4 years of experience with OpenShift, Java, Linux, JBoss, Apache, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of certificates.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts.
- Able to multitask and work flexible hours.
- Experience in the airport or travel industry is advantageous.
