The Business Technology Platform (BTP) Customer Success team plays a pivotal role in this mission, collaborating closely with clients to maximize the value derived from our platform. Your Responsibilities

The Business Technology Platform (BTP) Customer Success Manager (CSM) will proactively engage with a designated portfolio of clients to encourage them to utilize BTP as their primary platform for integration, extension, innovation, and analytical scenarios within the Intelligent Enterprise.

The BTP CSM will cultivate relationships with technical decision-makers to ensure that SAP clients' use of BTP Cloud services aligns with SAP's Intelligent Enterprise strategy. Additionally, the BTP CSM will work with clients to initiate their adoption, promote retention, and enhance loyalty.

As the BTP-CSM Senior Advisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with clients to sustainably boost their utilization of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) services, coordinating efforts with the Account Team to develop a joint outcome-based strategy and fostering a mutual understanding of IT architecture and business value.
  • Grasping the broader context, providing expertise in digital transformation, and advising on both technical and business architectures.
  • Acting as the primary strategic contact for SAP BTP and orchestrating success resources across SAP and clients by leveraging the assets of the SAP BTP engagement model.
  • Assessing your clients' technical requirements and executing consumption strategies for your assigned accounts.
  • Offering recommendations and preparing clients to optimize their use of the solution, in alignment with SAP's strategic direction and roadmap.
  • Representing the voice of the client to internal SAP stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from various departments, including Cloud Success Services, relevant centers of expertise, Account Teams, Pre-sales, Product Management, Support, Services, and Partners.
  • The BTP-CSM Senior Advisor may also be tasked with fulfilling a client's premium subscription services.

Qualifications

  • 5-6 years of experience in fields such as Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Project Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, or Consulting.
  • Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms (PaaS) and providers.
  • Strong understanding of one or more areas within the SAP BTP portfolio: SAP BTP Extension and Integration Suite, Cloud Databases, Cloud Data Management, Analytics Cloud Solutions.
  • Professional experience in implementing cloud initiatives.
  • Multi-lingual capabilities are advantageous, depending on the region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Professional Training & Certification

  • Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with design thinking methodology is a plus.
