Job Title: Air Import Customer Service

Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative at Expeditors, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely arrival and accurate preparation of shipping documents for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service by monitoring freight and ensuring that all necessary documents are turned over to customers' brokers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor inbound shipments and ensure freight is made available for customers to receive their cargoes in the quickest possible time.
  • Ensure to meet all Pharmaceutical & Healthcare requirements as per GDP/GDPMDS regulations and directives.
  • Trace flight delays with airlines and origins to ensure timely feedback on arrival information to customers and the customer service team.
  • Ensure all paperwork is in proper order that meets customer's profile and complies with local rules and regulations.
  • Achieve 100% customer satisfaction at all times through understanding customers' needs and handling requirements.
  • Ensure all data are entered into the system timely and accurately.
  • Ensure that freight and handling charges are billed accurately and sent billing invoices to customers timely.
  • Prepare and submit reports timely whenever required.
  • Take up additional tasks as required to meet department's needs.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of working experience.
  • Good working knowledge in computer software applications including E-Mail, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must possess initiative and adopt a positive and pro-active demeanor.
  • Committed to the job and work assignments given.
  • Good understanding of Customer Service culture.
  • Team Player and able to work with a variety of personalities across all levels of the organization.
