Job Title: Air Import Customer Service

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team at Expeditors. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring timely arrival of freight, and accurate preparation of shipping documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor freight to ensure timely arrival and accurate preparation of shipping documents.
  • Follow up on inbound shipments to ensure freight is made available for customers to receive their cargoes in the quickest possible time.
  • Ensure compliance with Pharmaceutical & Healthcare regulations and directives.
  • Trace flight delays with airlines and origins to ensure timely feedback on arrival information to customers and customer service team.
  • Ensure all paperwork is in proper order and meets customer's profile and comply to local rules and regulations.
  • Achieve 100% customer satisfaction through understanding customers' needs and handling requirements.
  • Ensure all data is entered into system timely and accurately.
  • Ensure freight and handling charges are billed accurately and sent billing invoices to customers timely.
  • Prepare and submit reports timely whenever required.
  • Take up additional tasks as required to meet department's needs.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of working experience.
  • Good working knowledge in computer software applications including E-Mail, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Must possess initiative and adopt a positive and pro-active demeanor.
  • Committed to the job and work assignments given.
  • Good understanding of Customer Service culture.
  • Team Player and able to work with a variety of personalities across all levels of the organization.
