The Associate Manager of Software Engineering will play a pivotal role in our modernization initiative, overseeing the deployment of next-generation microservices built on a contemporary application architecture that employs domain-driven design principles. This includes a focus on event-driven, API-first, and security-first methodologies.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in architecting and developing code for such sophisticated system frameworks. They will be committed to producing efficient, clean code that adheres to SOLID principles and other best practices in software development. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling effective collaboration with team members within a cross-functional scrum environment. Additionally, they will serve as mentors to junior team members and will be adept at managing the performance and career development of developers, as well as resolving obstacles that may impede the team's progress.
