Role Overview:

The Associate Manager of Software Engineering will play a pivotal role in our modernization initiative, spearheading the development of our next-generation microservices. This will utilize our contemporary application architecture, grounded in domain-driven design, employing hexagonal architecture with an emphasis on event-driven, API-first, and security-first methodologies.

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in architecting and implementing solutions for such system frameworks. They will be committed to producing efficient, clean code adhering to SOLID principles and other best practices in software development. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling effective collaboration with team members across a cross-functional scrum team. The candidate will also be adept at mentoring junior team members and will understand the broader implications of changes within the system architecture. Furthermore, they will be capable of managing developer performance, providing career guidance, and addressing obstacles that may arise beyond the team's immediate control.
