The Consumer Credit Review Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of credit decisions at GM Financial. This position is responsible for conducting monthly sample reviews and targeted reviews for Chile and Colombia to identify improvement opportunities and trends related to fraud control, credit risk policy, portfolio, originations, and credit risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reviews of credit decisions to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to enhance credit risk management.
- Collaborate with the Credit Review Manager to strengthen the oversight ecosystem and drive strong credit risk management at GM Financial.
- Analyze significant issues or findings, trends, or concerns and communicate them immediately to the Credit Review Manager and AVP.
- Design and execute quality control plans to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including credit teams, risk management, and other business units.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the credit risk management function.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Competency with credit systems, such as CRT, SRS, Neurotech, ELS, and Total Check.
- Knowledge of Power BI, SAS, and Microsoft Office is desirable.
