Main Responsibilities
- Maintain commercial customer relationships through regular communication and strategic planning to drive sales growth.
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers, ensuring they receive the best possible solution for their needs.
- Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives, contributing to the overall success of our commercial business.
- Collaborate with General Managers to develop and implement strategies that improve sales performance and customer satisfaction.
- Dispatch drivers efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts and meeting our high standards for customer service.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain core bank and commercial returns, ensuring seamless transactions and minimizing losses.
- Manage commercial credit accounts, fostering strong relationships with customers and optimizing payment processes.
- Work closely with General Managers to ensure proper driver coverage, guaranteeing excellent customer service.
Skillset
To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. You should be able to multitask, remain organized, and provide exceptional customer service. Proficiency in operating inventory systems, store equipment, and POS/Parts lookup systems is essential. Additionally, ASE P2 certification or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Your ability to source parts from various suppliers, including special order and second-source options, will also be valuable assets.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; ASE certification or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of prior automotive parts experience is desired, with a proven track record of sales success.
- You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
