Sales Carrier Growth Specialist

We are Sworkz, a nearshoring company based in Miami, FL, with operations in Medellín, Colombia. Our mission is to match US businesses' growth with a positive impact. We offer a competitive salary plus commissions. As a Carrier Sales professional, you will play a crucial role in developing and growing existing carrier relationships. Your responsibilities will include lead generation, cold calling, and referrals. You will also be responsible for receiving and posting loads on loadboards, such as TruckStop and DAT. Building strong relationships with trucking companies' key contacts, including owner operators, dispatchers, and drivers, is essential. You will negotiate prices, drive processes, and improve efficiency. Additionally, you will identify issues and work cross-functionally to determine and implement the best cost-saving solution. Maintaining consistent and clear communication with carriers to secure truck capacity and manage existing business agreements is critical. You will provide exceptional service to carriers and customers, as well as facilitate seamless coordination between shippers, receivers, and carriers to guarantee efficient merchandise transfer. Ensuring shipment details are accurately communicated and tracked in the system is also a key responsibility. You will support the sales department with timely SPOT quotations, transit times, and availability, and resolve ad hoc logistics issues. To be successful in this role, you will need 3-5 years of experience in carrier sales, English level C1 or above, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to identify gaps in skills. You will also need excellent organizational skills. This is a full-time position, and you will be based in Medellín. You must be willing to work on-site.
