Business Development Role Overview


RINA is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its office in Bogota, Colombia, within the Consulting Commercial Division.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month plan for LATAM, focusing on business growth and opportunity expansion.
  • Establish and maintain a focus on development of new business opportunities in the Power & Renewables sector.
  • Plan business development activity for established and new clients, identifying and prioritizing opportunities by client, industry, and geography.
  • Meet with existing clients in the assigned region, understanding client needs and offering RINA's services.
  • Support RINA's focus on increasing customer satisfaction through client maintenance and owning client issues to resolution.
  • Work with the RINA global management team to identify potential acquisition opportunities and develop these with the RINA group.
  • Cross-selling opportunities with clients, working with different divisions in RINA to develop mutual opportunities.
  • Complete timely and accurate client visit reports for distribution and ensure relevant actions are followed through.

Requirements



  • 3-7 years or more of relevant experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape to make informed business decisions.
  • Proficient in sales techniques, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and agreements with clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Analytical thinking to assess market trends, competitor activities, and performance metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools, including CRM systems, to streamline business development processes.
