Program Overview
SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is a business unit within the Customer Services and Delivery board area, specializing in the delivery of managed cloud services. To provide exceptional customer experiences, we have a Client Delivery Management (CDM) team within SAP ECS.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an accomplished SAP Technology Consultant to join our SAP ECS team as a Technical Service Manager (TSM). As a TSM, you will contribute to SAP's global strategy by supporting customers in their SAP S/4 HANA adoption journey, helping them achieve the business values and outcomes they desire from their SAP landscape.
Technical Service Managers play a critical role in accelerating customers' cloud transformation journeys and enabling them to achieve their business goals. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to our customers and partners, analyzing their business requirements and problems, and working across SAP ECS and other SAP departments to provide quality services, resolve technical complexities, and accompany them throughout their entire cloud transformation journey.
- Primary contact for customers for discussions about technology and innovations, serving as an escalation point for technical issues.
- Understand customer business, goals, and challenges to suggest solutions and services.
- Identify and position offerings by SAP ECS that deliver value to the customer.
- Offer comprehensive knowledge on SAP S/4HANA architecture, conversion, migration path, methodology, and tools.
- Understand SAP high availability or disaster recovery architecture, network, and virtual technologies (load-balancer, virtual machine).
- Experience and knowledge in SAP NetWeaver Administration, migration, and upgrades.
- Identify top issues, define service plans, and drive implementation of identified action items across customer landscapes.
- Understanding of various SAP cloud solutions and integration scenarios of SAP systems with SCP, Ariba, SuccessFactors (good to have).
- Design optimal SAP configuration to maximize system performance and availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management.
- Solid know-how on SAP Technologies and Products (SAP Basis, HANA, S/4), certification is highly beneficial.
- Work experience with at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP), certification is a plus.
- Analytical, solution-oriented, and experience in working with cross-cultural teams.
Work Experience
- Minimum 6 years of total experience under SAP Technical Administration background (preferably in the domain of SAP Basis skill) and should have knowledge & experience on Administration and Operations of SAP solutions.
- Among that, minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role and should have excellent command on de-escalating critical situations.
- Hands-on experience with working knowledge of Unix/Linux flavors.
- Hands-on experience with working knowledge of SAP HANA and Sybase databases.
