About this role: As a Technical SAP Commerce Cloud Consultant, you will play a key part in supporting our customers' adoption process during their Value Journey. You will be responsible for providing in-depth technical knowledge of the SAP Commerce Cloud platform and other CX products. Working closely with partners and customers, you will help define and assess non-functional requirements such as maintainability and optimization. Your expertise will be essential in designing the right architecture to provide the best solution to meet customer expectations. Additionally, you will fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments. Your role will also involve supporting successful project implementation phases and following best practices.

About you: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the SAP Commerce Cloud (previously Hybris) platform, including its modules, functionalities, and development environment. Your Java expertise should include at least 3 years of experience in Java programming. You should also be proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, or Groovy, and have experience with container and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes or similar platforms. Automation and build tools such as Jenkins, Maven or Gradle should also be familiar to you. Furthermore, you should have a solid understanding of secure coding practices, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance requirements relevant to e-commerce. Your experience with web frameworks, particularly Spring, should be solid, and you should be proficient in ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA. Familiarity with SCM tools such as Git and GitHub is also essential. Additionally, you should have experience with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL or SQL Server, and an understanding of database design and management. Your ability to integrate systems using JMS, web services, or ETL tools should be proven, and you should have experience in application performance tuning and a good understanding of design patterns. Lastly, a commitment to high-quality output in coding and testing, with experience in testing frameworks like JUnit or Spock, is expected.
