We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at AgileEngine, a top-ranking provider of software solutions to Fortune 500 and Global 500 companies. Located in Bogotá or Medellin, this role offers the opportunity to work with the best in a challenging environment where you're encouraged to learn and experiment daily.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and lead generation, innovating and overseeing the sales process to attract new clients. They will conduct outbound campaigns on LinkedIn, phone calls, emails, and other channels to create sales opportunities. Additionally, they will self-generate leads by researching potential clients and staying informed about industry developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and research opportunities in both new and existing markets, and develop rapport with key decision-makers.
  • Client Relationship Management: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions, creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to potential clients, customizing proposals based on each client's specific business needs.
  • Networking and Conferences: Attend industry conferences, meetings, and events to expand your network and represent our company professionally during in-person interactions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-4 years of sales/client-facing experience (can also include HR, Recruiting, or other external/internal client-facing experience).
  • Great charisma, personable, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Extremely self-motivated, high energy, and excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to think strategically and identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage a monthly/yearly quota of revenue generation (mix of self-generated leads/prospecting and existing account growth).
  • VISA/ability to travel to the US.
