About the Role

The Project Specialist will lead and provide consultation to software validation projects in Latin America. Projects may entail any form of software, including bots, automated spreadsheets, RPA, dashboards, data extractions, artificial intelligence, and more. No programming knowledge is required, but the successful candidate will have to validate software following established procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project/Program Management: Develop and implement project plans, build team ownership and commitment to project plans, and manage key initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes.
  • Estimate project levels of effort and resource requirements by using standard estimating techniques and tools.
  • Prepare project plans, schedules, and budgets by using project management tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Direct project execution by assigning tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, and developing and executing contingency plans.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path items while ensuring project quality and utilizing appropriate methodologies.
  • Assure project quality by using standard development methodologies.
  • Communicate project status by preparing standard status reports and participating in departmental and customer project status update meetings.
  • Resolve project issues by working with team members, project customers, and others as appropriate.
  • Consult with internal project groups by sharing project management knowledge.
  • Conduct project post-mortems and communicate lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Requirements
  • University degree in progress or completed in Engineering, Systems, or a related field.
  • English upper Intermediate (B2) minimum.
  • Experience leading software validation projects.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to follow established processes.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Portuguese preferred but not exclusive.
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness are qualities that contribute significantly to success in this position.
