JOB TITLE: HR Senior Manager
LOCATION: Colombia
FULL TIME/PART TIME: Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Senior Manager is responsible for directing and executing human resources functions within the organization, ensuring a comprehensive range of services from operational to strategic levels. This role includes overseeing the HR team to guarantee effective recruitment, contract management, onboarding, training and development, performance evaluation, compensation and benefits administration, compliance with policies and labor laws, and fostering employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to global HR operating policies and procedures in all HR activities.
  • Collaborate with the finance department for budget development and ensure compliance with internal and external controls.
  • Manage the renewal and termination of contracts, as well as all documentation related to employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Maintain personnel files and records in accordance with organizational standards and local legislation.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation programs to facilitate onboarding and promote a positive organizational culture.
  • Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
  • Coordinate training initiatives in line with the learning and development strategy; ensure compliance with training documentation and feedback processes.
  • Implement robust performance management systems; ensure timely evaluations and goal setting for new hires.
  • Maintain the HR master file and database, ensuring regular updates and accurate record-keeping.
  • Manage HR administration to ensure full compliance with current labor regulations.
  • Address employee relations issues with professionalism; lead investigations and ensure resolution of workplace conflicts.
  • Advise management on appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with local labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to HR staff, setting clear expectations and conducting performance reviews.
  • Act as a representative of the organization's values and standards of conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and promote a culture of well-being among staff.
  • Support senior management in effective communication strategies to keep staff informed on relevant matters.

  • Reports to: Director of Human Resources
  • Supervises: HR Team in Colombia
  • Collaborates with: People managers at the country level
