POSITION SUMMARY:
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing human resources functions within Continuum Global Solutions, providing a comprehensive range of services from operational to strategic levels. This role involves managing the HR team to ensure effective recruitment, contract management, onboarding, employee development, performance evaluation, compensation and benefits administration, compliance with policies and labor laws, and fostering employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to global HR policies and procedures in all HR activities.
- Collaborate with the finance department for budget planning and ensure compliance with internal and external controls.
- Manage contract renewals and terminations, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately for new hires and departing employees.
- Maintain employee records in accordance with organizational standards and local legislation.
- Conduct and oversee new employee orientation to promote a positive onboarding experience.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing for all staff.
- Coordinate training initiatives in line with the development plan, ensuring compliance with training documentation and feedback requirements.
- Implement effective performance management processes, ensuring timely evaluations and goal setting for new employees.
- Oversee the HR Master file and database, ensuring regular updates and compliance with record-keeping standards.
- Address employee relations issues with professionalism, leading investigations as necessary and collaborating with the Ethics and Compliance Unit.
- Advise management on appropriate disciplinary actions in line with local labor laws and global policies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to HR staff, setting clear expectations and conducting performance reviews.
- Promote a culture of safety and well-being in the workplace, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Support leadership in effective staff communication, ensuring transparency on organizational matters.
Key Relationships:
- Reports to: DDHR
- Supervises: HR Team in Colombia
- Collaborates with: Country-level people managers
