Job Summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Startup Account Manager to drive the growth of high-potential early, mid, and late stage startups in Colombia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and user adoption, migrations, and ensuring new startups select AWS as their primary cloud provider.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan to ensure customer success with early, mid, and late stage startups.
  2. Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical by accelerating customer adoption through well-developed sales engagements and successful GTM Strategy.
  3. Meet or exceed quarterly revenue and goal targets by creating and articulating compelling value propositions around AWS services.
  4. Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
  5. Expect moderate travel to engage with customers and partners.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development, sales engineering/consulting or equivalent experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  3. Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
  4. Experience in engineering, computer science, or MIS.
  5. Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent.
